I am passionate about creating impact.

 

Growing up in Whistler, British Columbia taught me what it means to respect the environment and the places we live. Seeing the impact of over-tourism and climate change more broadly on the place I call home drove me to pursue an education at the University of Toronto that would allow me to create sustainable solutions to our planet's most pressing problems.

 

With an undergraduate degree in Human Geography, Urban Planning and Sustainability, I understand the collaboration and critical thinking required to strategically generate and implement sustainable solutions within a corporation. Whether it be real estate, fashion, or product development, I am driven to demonstrate how sustainability can create value within business.

Before finding my passion for sustainability, I was a Varsity Basketball athlete at Ryerson University (now Toronto Metropolitan University) and competed in the U-Sports National Championship. High-performance sport has ultimately made me who I am today. My leadership, communication skills, drive and dedication have all carried through into the work I do today. I understand what it means to work on a team to achieve a common goal, but also the importance of empowering others to do their best work. While my professional work is far from related to sports, I would not be where I am today without learning what it takes to be elite, and that, I will carry with me forever.
